All I am saying is that if Delia had the money to fund us to that degree, we would have done the same as these other clubs. Bournemouth have hardly been profligate or badly run.

It is very much 'there but for the grace of God go we...' for the vast majority of clubs, us included. There is nothing special about us. There hasn't been a 20 year grand plan to get to this state. We've been on the brink in recent memory.

The fan point was simply from the pov that personally, as a fan, I'd spend it like water if I had it. I'd easily do a Villa.
