No idea. I guess at lower league level its still more prominant but I'm

talking more about how football is being coached at youth level and what it is likely to be like by the time kids now starting out are adults. I just see headers (other than from corners or at goal etc) becoming less and less common.

It would be interesting to see some stats on the average number of headers per game at professional level if they exist. I would be amazed if they are not a lot lower than they were in the 80's or 90's.
