Isn't that kind of the philosophy though?

Produce young, talented players that can be sold to bigger (richer) clubs and the money reinvested into the next crop of youngster, rinse and repeat.

Hopefully over time this will lead to a general increase in the quality of players in the club.

Personally, I think we have to yoyo a couple of times to be on a footing to remain in the Premier League. Next year will take a lot of incentives to keep the core of this squad together, so again will we have the money to reinvest in the squad?
