The terms on which Chelsea have been successful are horrendous, though.

As is the style of football they play, the way they treat referees and their fans. Chelsea are able to buy players at wildly inflated fees just to stop other teams having them, which makes the whole Premiership competition a waste of time.

I've always loved Wenger's Arsenal - a delight to watch, and while they spent a lot of money, it wasn't inconceivable that other teams could match them.

I'd love to develop this further but I have to go to work.
