I’m not jealous of Sheff U - good luck to them. They’re on a different path to us. I

am sure they’re loving it and it’s made all the sweeter by the fact they’ve had to wait ages to get back into the Prem. I guess it’s a bit like our Lambert season, and who knows, they may well become established in the premier. I’m not bothered if they do or don’t.

For me, we’ve done this Prem thing so regularly recently that I know we’ll have some great results and some rubbish ones and then most likely we’ll be regulated. I know before I open posts what people will be saying and who they’ll be blaming or how they’ll be accepting it. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose. So for me, I’m not stressing about the big picture but enjoying the small things.

I didn’t hear Mark Rivers’ comments but I agree with him that I’d rather be watching this Norwich team. Sheff U’s team you could argue has been built on since their L1 days, where as, we are a new team and a young team. Today’s result has been awful for example but last week it was so exciting to think about a potential new star. I’ve also seen us play enough dazzling stuff to look at other teams and think they’re a bit dull in comparison. For me that’s the fun.

I love watching us win so of course I’d love to us to see us getting the defence sorted - but why shouldn’t we? We improved incredibly between Farke’s first and second seasons. We’ve had MAJOR injury problems to have to deal with that you’d have to hope are freakishly rare and won’t happen again. We have a proven record of spotting talent to improve the team and we’ll have had a season in the Prem to give experience and rebalance budgets.

Yep. I’m happy watching us play.
