Daniel Farke addresses the media ahead of Manchester United v Norwich City. Updates to come from 1.15pm.
----------------------------------------------------------------
DF: Teemu Pukki is out for this game with a hamstring problem. We have long-term injuries to Timm Klose, Ben Godfrey and Josip Drmic is not in the mix.
DF: I hope Teemu will join us in training next week, available for the Bournemouth game.
DF: Adam Idah is a good option for us and did alright against Preston.
DF: There's no potential for Max Aarons to leave the club. I wouldn't waste energy listening to the rumours.
DF: I don't want to discuss transfers too much as we have to be focued on the game. But Dennis Srbeny, Patrick Roberts and Philip Heise have left us, as well as Akin Famewo on loan. We're working with a small group so we're looking to strengthen, especially in the offense.
DF: We know Duda is a good player, but let's see how the next days and weeks develop. We need to bring some options in.
DF: Preston was a tough place to go so to get a convincing win was good for the mood. Manchester United are one of the greatest clubs in the world, but we travel with confidence looking to extend our unbeaten run to four games.
DF: We have to be brave and not be too impressed by the atmosphere at Old Trafford. We have to be ourselves and play football with courage.
DF: It wouldn't be respectful for me with Norwich in position 20 to talk about United being beatable this season. We have proven we can get points against top class sides, but we know it's a difficult task.
DF: You always feel a bit more comfortable at home but we've had some really good away performances so I'm not fearful.
DF: Harry Maguire is world class, so I know they can defend well. We have to be precise and clinical because I don't expect to have 20 one-on-ones. It's difficult to score against them, but it's possible.
DF: I expect them to be highly motivated. It's not a secret they should win against us, but I wouldn't over interpet that they could be nervous.
DF: It was great for Adam to get a hat-trick, but I don't like the hype. It was his first game on this level. I was pleased with him but we didn't win the Premier League. With all respect to Preston, they had made several changes in their defence.
DF: It's a bit different facing Maguire and Lindelof. Quality is defined by performances over a long term period, so that's what Adam has to do. He's not a quality striker after one FA Cup game.
DF: When one of your key players isn't available it's important, but we're not changing our entire philosophy because of one player. Our other options are different to Teemu, but we won't change our style.
DF: I can only concentrate on good performances. Hopefully, we can add some wins now, it was good to get that feeling back at Preston. One point tomorrow would be a good result, but we play it to win it.
DF: We have to defy all the odds - injuries, VAR, referee decisions. It was enjoyable not to have VAR at Preston, but tomorrow we have it again.
DF: Ralf Fahrmann is back in training and available.
DF: Ben Godfrey is doing alright in his rehab, so he could be back in training next week.
DF: In an ideal world, we'd have waited until after Manchester United to sell Dennis Srbeny, but with his wishes and those of the other club sometimes you're forced to make a decision. He always worked his socks off, but he wanted to leave. That's understandable and he now has the opportunity to be a main striker for Paderborn in the Bundesliga.
DF: We always want to back our young, academy stars. Adam was the fourth-choice striker but Dennis leaving can allow him to deliver.
DF: In this moment, we're not thinking of loaning Adam Idah out.
DF: We started playing football to have these games against the best clubs and best players, and to show we can be competitive. We don't want to enjoy a lovely stadium, we want to enjoy winning points.
DF: The previous game against Manchester United showed how important it is to control the pace of their counter attacks. They've had some amazing wins against top class sides. We need to control the ball and exhaust them, to take their will away and have a quick counter ourselves.
DF: Barcelona play without a proper striker. Guardiola has philosophies on playing without natural born strikers. If your strikers aren't available, you find other solutions.
DF: Adam is taller and stronger than most 18-year olds. He's aware he has potential but he knows he has to improve. Both his feet are on the ground, so I don't have to take too much care of him.
DF: Sam Byram proved he can be a decent right back, but I'm pleased with Max Aarons. Against Manchester United last time, he had a top class assist for Pukki but he didn't score. He's improved a lot defensively as well, but it's not the end of the line.
DF: There are no better lessons than to play against the best left wingers in the world. We'll have lots of fun with him for the next four and a half years.
