Well, cars kills thousands directly every year (in the UK alone)

Increasingly we are learning they kill thousands - possibly tens of thousands - more every year through air pollution

They contribute significantly to the climate crisis confronting all of us right now

And they also make many urban and rural areas harder to live in, deter parents from allowing their children to play outside, walk or cycle to work, and contribute to the ill health and obesity crises hitting our society.

Other than those things, nothing against cars.
