Whats the alternative.....do we give up or....

try to sign players that will help us pick up the 7 wins we need to stay up.
Its not a big risk because we are not on the hook for a big contract if it doesnt work.
You also blend in players like Idah who will help us next season. We have also loaned out some good prospects this season to St Mirren and Swindon who could be 100% ready for the champs next season.

The one thing a lot of you guys are missing in the loans vs permanent signings is club wage structure.

We probably pay far more per week for loans because they have no actual club contract but it doesnt upset others at the club who are held to our wage structure.

One of the major problems of signing Rhodes was the amount of money he is/was making. Its well known Sheff wed have been overpaying their players. it was easy to loan him but harder to sign him unless he would take a wage cut.
