Next ashes isn't until 2021/22 down under, so India visit there before we do

That's more likely to be why they are planning for that first :-)

I was very surprised to learn on monday there wasn't an ashes at the end of this year.
Probably a good thing as they would really hammer us at the moment, instead of just the normal hammering we get down under.
