I don't have a problem with the VAR offsides per se, but it's treating the tech as though it's infallible and objective, when it is not accurate enough to remove the element of subjectivity (hence all this frame rate nonsense).

It's ultimately a (VAR) referee's opinion based on the balance of probabilities, and referees can get it wrong. Which is fine, except when they portray VAR as being something more infallible than it is.
