It’s not them wanting to feed the rich. It’s them wanting to pick the game

that they think the most people will want to watch. (And in particular they think they’re aiming at casual football fans and neutrals as well as hardcore Sky subscribers etc.)

So their thinking is that Liverpool vs Everton has the best chance of your ordinary Jo(anna) thinking - “ooh, I’ll watch a bit of that”.
