I continue to find Roots bowling changes a bit strange

He took off both Broad and Anderson before lunch at times when they were on a bit of a roll. He brought on Bess when we had them on the wrack a bit and then he opens after lunch with Curran who looks the least threatening on this surface.

I just don’t really understand the thought processes at times but then he has played a lot more cricket than me!
