Seems to be fairly clear consensus developing for VAR offside calls

Look at the freeze-frame - if it's an obvious error, reverse it. If it's not obvious, and you'd need to start drawing lines and dots to tell, then just go with the on-field call.

Not perfect - people will argue with some calls - and also will require other changes from where we are now. (In particular, will probably have to get rid of the current situation - which I actually think is good - where if the assistant ref thinks it's marginal, he or she doesn't flag, but just lets play develop. And then you go to VAR to adjudicate. Instead they're gonna have to make a call in the moment.)

Won't satisfy everyone. And too late for us. But heyho. (Of course, guess we don't actually know whether the lino thought Pukki was offside vs Spurs - he wouldn't have flagged either way...)
