yep, certainly not fit for accurately judging calls a couple of cms either way

they would argue (probably correctly) that it's still more accurate than a linesman. But given that essentially it's still guessing for close calls, it seems ridiculous to be penalizing the attacking team for gaining no real advantage,, breaking up the game, ruining celebrations all in the name of certainty and infallibility.
