Our middle order was our big Big strength a year or two ago.

The mismanagement of those all rounders has led to this.

They've been overplayed, scapegoated and shuffled up and down to try and plug the gaps elsewhere.

Denly and Burns are looking good. Happy with Sibley getting a run at the top.

But god we've managed the team badly. And over and over again we're making the wrong tactical decisions.

Interesting listening to Nasser talking post match, he's so much more astute than Atherton - we need to be harder to beat (as Hussain made us).

Definitely need to play a spinner. Nasser is picking up that they're suggesting Bess might leapfrog leach and parkinson - hugely muddled squad selection. Absolute mess.

Got a great squad, badly mismanaged.
