Why didn't VAR get their tape measure out on their free kick?

Can't believe we've seen them chalk off what was a goal of the season contender, and they've clearly manipulated it just to get the decision they wanted because it's impossible to tell from that angle - I reckon Alderweireld's shoulder is playing Pukki's on, but they only drew a line from his knee.

VAR ruining the game. I bet they're doing it deliberately so people will back them when they bin it at the end of the season.
