The lack of goals from midfield/number 10 compared with last season

After Pukki last year our next four leading scorers , Mario, Marco, Emi & Onel have one goal this season between them. Emi hasn't scored since he was sent off against QPR in April. Ok injuries have effected their availability but it does put an awful heavy weight on Pukki & only Todd to an extent has stepped up.
I think we've had chances to be ahead in every game (bar Watford) before the opposition have scored & I do wonder what the difference would be if we' did taken a few both for the team & individual player. What if Stiepi had buried those early chances against Liverpool instead of hitting the Kop, I know we'd prob still have lost but confidence can do strange things, the 92/93 season being the classic example
