The pain of playing really quite well

And somehow contriving to get nothing week after week is so hard to take. You wonder where we would now be without our earlier injury crisis and the total loss of confidence that led to. Or if we’d actually added 2/3 players that had actually improved the squad in the summer.

What’s going to hurt more is watching the guts get ripped out of the squad by the vultures when our relegation is confirmed though.
