Slightly odd that of those that looked very good last season...

... ie. from midfield, Stiepermann, Leitner and Buendia, they’ve either been sporadic (Emi) or disappointing (Marco - missed chances), whereas Cantwell, who did get some (undeserved) stick and was dropped last season, has got 5 goals and really stepped up. You could maybe add Aarons, Godfrey and Lewis to the original list.

Only Pukki, Krul and Zimmermann, in my opinion, have maintained last season’s form, and probably Tettey.
