we did not give him many service from midfield, simply as that.
I went to the Luton, QPR and Birmingham game, I thought every of our players did not perform EXCEPT Ashton. Ok maybe you can say he need to put himself back to the shop window because he knew we were not going to get back into the Premiership this season, but from the games I watched, I felt he was the only player who really cared about the score. The game at Kenilworth, being 0-4 down at half-time, he was the only player to keep his head up and scored a great goal to pull one back, also drift to the left wing to cross for Ryan Jarvis to score his first goal of the season.
He had the heart to play for us but just we were not good enough to contain a great talent liked Ashton. Who scored and made the goal against MU last season?
