No argument possible

Martin Peters was the best player, by a distance, to play for Norwich City over the past 50 years - and probably ever.
Memories that stand out - his habit of "ghosting in" to score, but he could do everything. Range of passing, free kicks, and he was a box to box midfielder before the term was invented. As good a header of the ball as I've seen.
My favourite moment - probably from the year we gave up our season tickets in the Main Stand. We had thoroughly outplayed Spurs, but were trailing 1-2. Late on we got a free kick. With everyone thundering their feet, Martin bent a free-kick low round the wall and into the net. Brilliant. Spurs didn't expect it, and neither did Anglia - they covered the match but barely caught the free-kick.
I'd rank him among the top 5 English players of the past half-century.
It was a privilege to grow up watching a master play.
RIP Martin.
