Press news in....

Daniel Farke addresses the media ahead of Norwich City v Wolverhampton Wanderers. Updates to come from 1.15pm.
------------------------------------------------------------------

DF: Sad news for Ben Godfrey. He's got a ACL tear, so no surgery but will be out until February, about six weeks.

DF: We have several options. Grant Hanley has been in team training for ten days. We didn't want to throw him in this quick. We also have Alex Tettey and Ibrahim Amadou.

DF: It's good to play in our living room in front of our home fans, so we don't have to travel. It's still 11 v 11 with two rectangles at the end of the pitch, so I wouldn't look into it too much.

DF: It's crucial to get points in the home games, but I wouldn't complain about getting some at Villa Park either.

DF: It was great to be the first team in several months to get a point at Leicester, but we were a bit sad we weren't able to get all three. We had the better chances and it was good for the mood.

DF: Wolves are pretty impressive. Since being promoted, they've improved month to month. They have a good mix of experienced and young players with ambitious movements in the transfer market.

DF: I know how capable and full of potential Teemu is. He's proved that over a long time, so I'm happy he's able to deliver on a weekly basis.

DF: All our performances over the last few weeks were pretty good. I trust my lads and I think we are in a good position to have plenty of games.

DF: 2019 was a great year for the football club and everyone involved here, so we have to be grateful and thankful. We have a chance to finish above the relegation zone, so my one wish is for us to have less injuries.

DF: Teemu is available, so that's good news. Nothing was broken, just a painful bruise.

DF: We have lots of competition in all positions, but we don't want injuries at centre-back especially. It's not ideal to put Grant Hanley back in as he's been out for three and a half months.

DF: No-one's close to crying or wanting to go back. I trust my lads and I won't complain about the attitude. Throw everything you want at us and we will put it aside.

DF: We don't have to put Grant back in. We can change the formation, but whoever is the solution they will be desperate to deliver in a key role next to Christoph Zimmermann.

DF: We had a brilliant win at Goodison Park and a draw at Leicester. We have to pick points wherever we play, and we have three chances in the next fortnight to do that.

DF: It was painful for Ben to stay on at Leicester and he mentioned that it didn't feel stable, but he delivered one of his best performances, so it was a shock to discover the extent of the injury.

DF: It will be a while until Timm Klose can get his boots back on, so I don't want to put too much pressure on him.

DF: You can do business in January, but it's not like we'll have a centre-back in on New Year's Day. It would take a while to get to know the teammates or until they're really settled.

DF: If there is an option in January we won't fall asleep in the market, but it is difficult and expensive at that time of year.

DF: Todd Cantwell and Jamal Lewis missed a training session each with knocks, but nothing serious and they're available for Wolves.

DF: At home to Man City we were deep and dangerous on counter-attacks. At Leicester we were brave in our build up and bypassed Vardy and Maddison.

DF: Wolves are dangerous on the counters and often defend in 5-4-1. They transition well, so it's important for us to be good in possession and avoid giving the ball away easily.

DF: In the first 12 games, we had some good performances but a lot of bad results. Now, it's a big second part of the season, so we have to get as many points as possible. The last period is crunch time when the nerves are important.

DF: We have to make sure we're not too down when we lose or too high when we get good wins or draws.

DF: In the last five games, we didn't concede from open play in four of them. Having two natural centre-halves available helped that. It's crucial to be strong at the heart of your game.

DF: I played long enough as a footballer myself to know it's easier to judge the team with a coffee or a sausage roll from the stands. In those moments, it's important to be flexible.

DF: We don't have to be scared to make mistakes. Blame me if that happens, because I trust the players. It's important to support them and give them the confidence.
