1979?

Hang on, in 1979 Britain was broken with a failing economy with massive inflation, debts spiralling out of control, unions holding the country to ransom, rubbish piled up on the streets, the army having to step in, even TV went on strike - this after years of labour rule. Please don’t conveniently forget that life before the Thatch was a socialist utopia, because most people of my generation dont forget and have voted EVERYTIME since to reject it.....
