I just think the amount of wind-up merchants and undignified name-calling, not to mention unjustified provocation, makes the site unhealthy these days.

Yes, there used to be feuds and arguments, not particularly edifying for sure, but the last few months have been symptomatic of all that’s wrong with online communities.
