Speaking as someone who has met and knows quite a lot of people on this board

and would be proud to call them friends, for many years now and hopefully still to come, I think the time has come to close it (the board). There is too much troll and troll-like behaviour, from too many posters, to call it a functional community any more. Archive it, so members can browse for a while, reminisce old conversations and save anything they want to, then move on.
