It is actually easy. The problem has been that the Brexit deal is not seen by many as having political legitimacy because the deal being offered is nothing like the Leavers claimed Brexit would look like during the campaign. But this could be sorted easily, even with a hung parliament, with a simple second referendum - the ACTUAL deal vs Remain. Nobody then could possibly argue against the legitimacy of the result and we could just get on and do it. This is what the May/Johnson should have done if they REALLY wanted this this issue sorted quickly and remove the parliamentary impasse.
