Exactly the opposite

What we need is parties to work together and come to a compromise (which disgracefully has become a dirty word). No single party represents (or is going to even come close to representing) the majority of the electorate so it would be appalling for one single party (any party) to have a sufficient majority to be able to dictate policy on behalf of a minority of the population.
What this country NEEDS is politicians to stop being confrontational and divisive and learn to work together, and by doing so bring the country back together rather than splitting it apart. If we can establish that a hung parliament is the new unavoidable norm then that might finally (even if slowly) force a change towards that desirable outcome.
