An Open Goal and they've missed it....!

The election was a wonderful opportunity for the Lib Dems. 48% of the population voted Remain and many think / expect / know that Brexit will be a disaster. Many see Boris as an unelectable, untrustworthy charlatan and Corbyn as an unelectable far left bigot. But the Lib Dem members at their conference went for the revoke Brexit unilaterally policy and that, even to most Remainers is undemocratic. A further referendum conducted properly with genuine reasons to stay in the EU (not Project Fear) was the proper line. Plus Jo Swinson has been very disappointing. A bit of a girly swot who is one of the candidates on The Apprentice who gets the boot quite early. An Open Goal missed....sad.
