Matches in empty stadiums are unwatchable and tv revenue would dry up as nobody would watch any more.
Yesterday's Sheffield United offside was not announced for about 2 minutes. I thought they were checking for a penalty. Then finally the said "VAR is checking for a goal". So, no, it's not announced.
Watching at a stadium is a completely different experience to watching at home, as you well know.
You have not acknowledged the main point, the one I've banged on about since day 1, that the sheer joy of a goal, or penalty save, is now forever tainted. Please stop comparing the breaks reviewing goals with drinks breaks or half time. Warm regards.
