most people sense that the discussion going on between the two sides, on the basis of their stated positions, is a bit ridiculous - and why I think that more than usually so, this is an election about least bad choices (and the result of which could easily be misinterpreted - eg, voting conservative does not necessarily mean supporting austerity - many natural/lifelong Lab supporters will I think vote Con for a variety of reasons, or at least, not vote Lab)
