yep, still some very serious disturbances going on

I went out for a beer last night as it seemed relatively quiet and around 9pm they had to kick us out quickly so they could board up the doors to prevent crowds of rioters from getting in.

I had a lovely walk home through what looked like a middle east war-zone, with no traffic lights left standing, clouds of teargas and hundreds of stone-throwing youths being chased by water cannons and armoured police, eventually getting to get to my front door only to find it had been barricaded shut as shotgun wielding cops took potshots at the people who'd built a burning barricade across the road outside.

Whoever that chinese bellend was who said "may you live in interesting times", had clearly never had to deal with riots kicking off around his gaff
