Just back from the game

Long Melford 1 Thetford town 3.

Biggest let down was a club that is sponsored by a brewery , Nethergate, had no f**king ale so I had to settle for some craft lager which was too bad.

Long Melford are the latest money bags club at this level,. When we got to the car park we had to squeeze between a Porsche and a Range Rover Vogue. Apparently the owner is a multi millionaire. Maybe he should spend his money in improving the facilities a bit.
Club house was rank and the bogs where no better than some of the latrines I've pissed in. Floodlighting was pish poor.
I reminded myself that this was Suffolk so I should expect much better.

Anyway Thetford Irons gave it to the long ball hoofers who where 2nd in the league before kick off. Also we had more fans than them.

Oh and because GOBB called me a coward, I kept my Norwich badges on my coat.
