Lecturer: "So what Spielberg was trying to do here was portray the shark as a communist and disruptive threat to the huge American capitalist dream"

Me: "How do you know he wasn't just making a 'horror' film about a scary shark?"

*Lecturer decides* - 'this long-haired blonde, speccy lad will not be one of my favourite students for the next three years'
