Jim is incredibly slippery

Unpleasant opinion, measured tones, returns with "Look I wasn't saying that I..." and "All I was saying was..." etc

And then the bizarre attempts at befuddlement.

Example:

Jim: "He may well... be actively involved in campaigns supporting rape victims"

norway: "You've said that he might have worked with rape crisis groups"

Jim: "I didn't say he was working with victims charities I simply said that he may be"
