Our turnover as a championship club without parachute payments was just under £34m

that's more or less where we all thought it should be. We can probably add a bit to that if we are ultra ruthless commercially but its pretty much the ceiling unless there is a much better TV deal. Its about £8m more than the sc*m but then Evans fills that hole for them each year so we would basically be about on a par with the likes of Ipswich or probably Bristol City in terms of annual operating budget.

Our player wage bill last season was £24.6m and 73% of turnover.
