Was it? when the 2017/2018 accounts were published

we made a £14.6m profit (which admittedly included the first instalment for Madders) and they said they had cut the football costs (i.e. wages) by half and that although some of that £14.6m would go on a tax bill (which I think we may have got out of but we will see tomorrow when the accounts are out) we were now in a position where we were on a more even keel.

Our turnover will have increased this season by about £90m. It cannot all have gone on wage increases, promotion bonuses and the extra fee for Emi.
