Not having been hamstrung by injuries, and with an easier run to begin with, the Sheffield players have had space to adapt and Wilder has been able to tweak the team to optimise it, not just patch together 11 players on the pitch.

So much of our play last year depended on understanding between the players and so injuries hit even harder.

How many of our players have been fully fit throughout this initial run?

Injuries are a part of football sure. But the range and depth of the injury crisis we have had (still have) is exceptional.

But feel free to carry on underpaying it to suit your narrative.
