Within the bigger picture you are undoubtedly right....but

its not being competitive that hurts. At least give it a go so we have some hope.... And that's the problem, we are looking totally out of our depth and that isn't pleasant and that's why there is fan backlash at present. But within the bigger picture you are correct that the club itself is more important (still hate losing so feebly to Burnley, Palace, Villa and Brighton though).
