It was. What I would say though is that

as much as I think he was handed an almost impossible task, Farke has consistently not been able to get this team to defend properly. Now its not being masked by our attacking ability and we are playing better sides its being brutally exposed and its that which has undermined us right from the first half at Anfield.

Actually being able to play a defensive midfielder will of course help, as will having Zimm back but he also needs to be out on that training pitch getting those f**kers to improve their marking, basic defending and stop giving the ball away constantly.
