because

they would have wanted to show liverpool/arsenal and this game on different nights but because of european football last week, most of them played on sunday, so they all play tonight instead. however, because sky still want to show both games, they are starting one early and the other one late. I presume the extra five minutes is to allow the first half of the early game to finish, everyone to get a cup of tea and debate whether to keep watching, or switch over and watch chelsea/man utd
