For a start, two of his key players were Wes and Holty, neither of whom he bought. Doesn't alter the indisputable fact that he did a fantastic job here, just not sure how much of it was down to him being a top quality manager. Sometimes success in football is just down to being in the right place at the right time (and vice versa).
