Lambert...

Kept us up without any real problems and didn’t spend a great deal of money to do so. Not sure how it’s comparable. We didn’t lose back to back games for how long? Lambert deserved all the plaudits we gave him. I never believed in Neil even after promotion. Farke is a different story. He’s learning on the job at this level, he plays terrific football. I think we have all been guilty of thinking our players would step up more than they have (especially Farke and Webber) who would have predicted Aaron’s, buendia, and Steip would struggle as much at this level as they have? I genuinely thought buendia could play at a top 4 club, that seems light years away at the minute... Aaron’s probably had his best and only decent game last night (I still think he’s a winger) really Krul, Lewis, Godfrey and Pukki are the only players who have adjusted to this level. We could all blame the injuries of course but our stars from last season haven’t got going at all.
