Say those players play poorly at Prem level or get injured, and so turn out to not be worth what you hoped they were?
That said it hasn't happened so far (Aarons, Godfrey and Lewis have been OK, if not sensational, and Cantwell has probably gone up in value - I would say only Buendia has been noticeably worse than expected)
