The decision to run the penalty that led to their equalising try was tremendous. After that they were in the ascendency, but decided just to keep the ball inside with the big fellas, drawing contact, not really looking to move it but just hoping to draw a penalty out of the saffers. Saffers discipline was however excellent, and the welshies ended up being the ones to concede the crucial penalty.
Can’t help thinking if they had kept being bold and ran the ball during that period, they would have won. Felt to me like they handed the initiative over.
