PM; BWOD - re why is it I'm a Canary...

Born in Mile End, within the sound of Bow Bells, and lived first 4 years within shouting distance of Highbury.

Dad (RIP) and his family all Gooners.

Moved to Kent in late 60s, then Sussex in the 90s, three locations and I've now got to the sea!

Mum (RIP) family originate from East Anglia, but south of the border!!! Saxmundum area to be exact. Spent a lot of early 70s visiting Norfolk/Suffolk (and several holidays in Hopton) where I met with some Nodgers and from'72 it was all yellow and green... was never gonna be a Gooner, that's for sure!!

Managed to get to first Nodge game in '78, away at Orient.

The rest, they say, is history 😁💛💚
