Duncan Forbes....Another Tribute

I'm an old bastard. I remember DF joining City (by far the best signing Lol Morgan ever made) and think I watched his entire home career from the River End in the 70's + a fair few away games. The man WAS Norwich City in a way that no player could be now simply because the game is different now. Every club had one, but Dunc was ours. Definitely not cultural but every centre forward knew they had a big challenge when they played against him. He played once with a punctured lung in the League Cup against Arsenal (he did miss the next 3 mths admittedly). Duncan Forbes was Norwich City. A great player, A great leader, A great man. For me....T Rex, Monty Python, Prog Rock, Porridge, The 1970's....my teenage years. Duncan Forbes..
