Here’s what I think

He doesn’t actually do much wrong. Everything we saw when he was here suggested a kind and decent lad. But he’s not being picked by Southgate and so the tabloids are determined to find a reason - be it a LV backpack or a night in a casino- to turn him into a problem child. If he were behaving badly I’d fear the wrath of Brendan Rogers more than Gareth Southgate. Puff and nonsense.
