I understand... NNUH does run well.... however

The reason it runs so well is that it isn't starved of finances like the other 2 hospitals. My missus works in QEH and some of the things they are cutting back on are farcical. A desperately needed 2 ward extension was cancelled so the extra building could be financed at NNUH. James Paget and QEH are critised for offering an underfunded service in 1970's built hospitals that both need replacing. Is nice to have a nice new well funded hospital... but it comes at the cost to the eastern and western extremes of the population in the county.
