amazing place is the NNUH

spent two weeks doing voluntary work up there last year from right through from hospital portering (they lads/lasses average 15 mile a day walking, it's hard graft esepcially in summer with no air-con in those glass fronted lift lobbies 🥵) to getting an overview of the engineering tech estates maintenance side which blew my tiny little noggin to how they ensure all the surgical equipment is sterilised and made ready for theatre, amazing stuff goes on behind the scenes that joe public never sees. forza NHS.
