I'm sure it had an effect on our players too, who were clearly too distressed by such unacceptable racist abuse to be able to focus on the job in hand.

I think the EPL should step in and make Villa forfeit the match, or at least replay it once the emotional impact has faded (say, in about 4-5 months time?)
